Provincial officials keeping closer eye on civil servants through new year

The provincial government is conducting special inspections of government employees during the end of this year and the beginning of next.

It is on the lookout for drinking at work, leaving work without permission, not keeping proper office hours, driving government vehicles for personal use, treating subordinates unfairly, and other transgressions.

The province says it is also running more campaigns to dissuade government employees from drunk driving.

주요감찰내용은 당직자의 음주행위 등 복무기강 해이사례, 근무지 무단이탈,
출퇴근시간 미준수, 관용차량의 사적사용, 직위를 이용한 부당지시 등입니다.

특히 공직자의 음주운전을 예방하기 위해 관련 홍보활동을 강화하고 있다고 설명했습니다.
