6. Ringing in the new year in Jeju City
Performances, activities at City Hall

An event to ring in the new year at Jeju City Hall will include the striking of a traditional drum at 12 a.m. January first.

The festival will start at 9:00 p.m. on the 31st with various activities. A traditional percussion performance, a laser show, and a concert will follow at ten o’clock.

Following a countdown to the new year, citizens from all walks of life, including those born exactly 60 years ago, will strike the drum to wish for the best in 2019.


31일 밤, 제주시청서 '용고타고' 행사

새해 무사안녕을 기원하는 제야의 용고타고 행사가 오는 31일 밤 제주시청 광장에서 열립니다.

밤 9시부터 다양한 체험 행사를 시작으로 10시부터 민속보존회 길트기와 레이져 쇼, 음악 공연이 이어집니다.

용고타고 본 행사는 새해맞이 카운트다운에 이어 60년 전 기해년에 태어난 대표시민을 비롯한 각계각층의 시민들이 참여해 대형북을 치며 한해의 무사안녕을 기원하게 됩니다.
