Growth increases attributed to increased consumer holiday spending

The amount of household loan debt in Jeju has exceeded 15 trillion won.

The Jeju branch of the Bank of Korea says the total amount of Jeju household loan debt as of October was 15.1 trillion won. It is 13 percent higher than the same period in the previous year.

The increase from the previous month grew to 200 billion won from 148.9 billion won.

The Bank of Korea concluded that the increased rate of household loan debt grew nationwide due to the consumer spending after the Chuseok holiday and the higher travel expenses.


제주 가계대출 15조 원 돌파

제주지역 가계대출이 15조원을 돌파했습니다.

한국은행 제주본부에 따르면 10월 말 제주지역 가계대출 잔액은 15조 1천억 원으로 지난해 같은 기간보다 13% 증가했습니다.

지난달 대비 증가폭도 1천 489억에서 2천억 원대로 상승한 것으로 나타났습니다.

한국은행은 추석연휴 이후 소비자금 결제와 가을 이사철 자금수요 증가 등으로
전국적으로 가계대출 증가율이 상승했다고 분석했습니다.
