5. Jeju City plans additional recycling support centers
New facilities will accept all types of waste, regardless of day of week

Jeju City plans to set up additional recycling support centers where people can get rid of their waste regardless of the day of the week.

The city currently has 16 such facilities. It plans to add 12 more by the end of February.

The centers on Haksa-ro in Donam-dong and (누웨모루) Nuwemoru Street in Yeon-dong are open around the clock. The others are open from 6 a.m. to midnight.

The city recently allowed residents to dispose of small home appliances for free and to replace used batteries with new ones.

제주시 재활용도움센터 추가 설치

제주시가 요일에 상관없이 쓰레기를 배출할 수 있는 재활용도움센터를 추가 설치합니다.

이에 따라 현재 16곳에서 내년 2월까지 12곳을 추가설치해 모두 28군데로 늘릴 계획입니다.

재활용도움센터에서는 도남동 학사로와 연동 누웨모루 거리는 24시간, 나머지는 오전 6시부터 자정까지 모든 종류의 쓰레기를 버릴 수 있습니다.

특히 최근에는 소형폐가전제품을 무상 배출할 수 있고 폐건전지를 가져가면 새 것으로 교환할 수 있습니다.
