1. 5 Yemenis ordered to leave country
Among 56 who were denied stay permits

The Justice Ministry’s Jeju Immigration Office has ordered 5 of the 56 Yemenis who were denied all types of stay permits here to leave the country.

These are the first orders of their kind for the Yemenis. The immigration office says it cannot say why it issued the orders because of privacy issues.

The five must leave the country within one month. If not, they will be forcefully deported.

5명에 대해 출국명령 처분을 내린 것으로 확인됐습니다.

예멘인에 대한 출국명령 처분은 이번이 처음으로 출국명령 사유에 대해서는 사생활 문제여서 외부에 공개할 수 없다고 출입국외국인청은 설명했습니다.

출국명령 조치가 내려진 예멘인 5명은 한달 안에 출국해야하며 이를 어길 경우 강제 퇴거 조치가 내려집니다.
