Winter vacation has begun at some of the island’s elementary, middle, and high schools.

Among elementary schools, Ora Elementary was the first to start break on Christmas Eve. On average, the island’s youngest students get 27 days off.

Middle schoolers are getting an average of 44 days of winter vacation, which began at Aewol Middle School and three others on the 28th. High school students are getting an average of 32 days of break.

Asbestos removal work is scheduled at some elementary schools during the winter vacation.

이번 주부터 제주도내 초,중,고등학교가 겨울방학에 들어갑니다.

초등학교에서는 지난 24일 오라초등학교를 시작으로 평균 27일 동안 학교별로 방학을 실시합니다.

중학교는 애월중학교를 포함한 4개교가 28일부터 평균 44일 동안, 고등학교는 평균 32일 동안 방학에 들어갑니다.

특히 일부 초등학교에서는 겨울방학 기간에 석면 공사 등을 진행할 예정입니다.
