3. Real estate businesses booming most in Jeju
Daecheongdong leads the growth at 21.5 percent

Real estate business has been on the increase in Jeju this year.

The provincial government surveyed the number of businesses, the total number has increased to around 60,000, up 3.9 percent from a year earlier. The number of working employees has risen to 262,000, up 4,500 from last year.

The biggest increase comes from the real estate business at 13.8 percent. The same goes for the number of employees at 33 percent.

By area, Deacheondong has the highest increasing rate of 21.5 percent, followed by Gujwa-eup at 15.9 percent and then Samyang-dong at 13.4 percent.

제주에서 부동산업 증가세가 두드러진 것으로 나타났습니다.

제주특별자치도가 지난해를 기준으로 사업체를 조사한 결과 6만여군데로
1년전에 비해 3.9%, 2천개소 늘었습니다.

종사자수는 26만 2천명으로 전년에 비해 4천 500명 증가했습니다.

특히 부동산업이 13.8%로 가장 크게 증가했고 산업별 종사자수도 부동산이 33%로 가장 높았습니다.

읍면동별 사업체 증가율을 보면 대천동이 21.5%로 가장 높았고 다음이 구좌읍으로 15.9%, 삼양동 13.4% 순을 보였습니다.
