5. ‘Haiphong Families’ wins top award
KCTV sitcom explores lives of multicultural families

The KCTV sitcom ‘Haiphong Families’ has been recognized for outstanding content and awarded the Ministerial Prize from the Ministry of Science and ICT.

The Korea Communications Agency selected a total of nine programs from among all of those produced by terrestrial and cable television channels as well as independent productions.

Haiphong Families was awarded the top prize in the diversity category.

The 20-episode series explores the joys and sorrows of foreign nationals who married local residents, as they deal with cultural differences and prejudice.

KCTV '하이퐁 세 가족' 최우수작 선정

KCTV 제주방송의 다문화 시트콤 '하이퐁 세 가족'이 우수 콘텐츠로 선정돼 과학기술정보통신부 장관상을 수상했습니다.

한국방송통신전파진흥원이 올해 지상파와 케이블TV, 독립 프로덕션 등 제작 지원 프로그램을 대상으로 심사한 결과 KCTV 제주방송의 하이퐁 세 가족을 포함한 9편의 우수작을 선정했습니다.

특히 하이퐁 세 가족 프로그램은 다양성 분야에서 최우수상에 선정되는 영예를 안았습니다.

하이퐁 세 가족은 다문화 가정에 대한 편견과 문화적인 차이로 나타날 수 있는 삶의 애환을 20부작으로 제작해 방송됐습니다.
