Local firms think 2019 will be better than 2018

The local business community thinks 2019 will be a better year than 2018.

The Jeju branch of the Bank of Korea says the business index in December fell two percentage points from November to 60. The business outlook for January rose, however, to 61.

Many respondents in both manufacturing and non-manufacturing sectors expected sales to increase. They said their biggest challenge was intensifying competition.

제주지역 기업들의 내년 경기전망이 올해보다 나아질 것으로 나타났습니다.

한국은행 제주본부에 따르면 12월 제주지역 업황지수는 60으로 전달보다 2p 하락했지만 1월 제주지역 업황전망지수는 61로 상승했습니다.

제조업과 비제조업 모두 이달보다 매출 실적이 상승할 것이라는 응답이 많았습니다.

경영애로사항을 묻는 질문에 업체들은 경쟁심화를 가장 큰 문제로 꼽았습니다.
