3. Bus information system translated into 2 more languages
Chinese and Japanese will be available beginning next month

Officials are expanding the number of foreign languages used in the Jeju bus information system.

The provincial government will add Chinese and Japanese next month. Currently, only English and Korean service is being offered.

With the new additions, information inside the buses and at bus stations will be offered in four languages.

The province translated and checked the data last month. It is now putting the translations into the bus system information terminals.

버스정보 시스템에서 외국어 서비스가 확대 제공됩니다.

제주특별자치도는 다음달부터 제주지역 버스정보 시스템에 대한 외국어 서비스를
현재 영어에서 중국어와 일본어를 추가합니다.

버스 내 승객용 안내기는 물론 정류소에서도 4개 국어가 제공됩니다.

제주도는 지난달 부터 전체 버스정류장에 대한 외국어 번역과 검수 과정을 거쳤으며 현재 최종 데이터를 버스정보 안내기에 구축중입니다.
