4. Beefed up patrols over holidays
Police to keep closer eye on vulnerable locations through February 6

Police have beefed up patrols in the lead-up to the Lunar New Year holidays.

The Jeju Provincial Police Agency is working with municipal police to patrol public locations, including small stores, which often have inadequate security systems, and traditional markets. The enhanced efforts will continue through the last day of the holidays, February 6th.

Police will also increase their monitoring of households in which domestic violence may reoccur, and they will put more officers on night duty to prevent thefts and pickpocketing.


경찰, 설 명절 대비 특별 치안 활동

경찰이 설 연휴를 맞아 특별 치안 활동에 들어갔습니다.

제주지방경찰청은 제주자치경찰단과 합동으로 설 연휴 마지막 날인 2월 6일까지
보안 시설이 취약한 소규모 점포와 전통시장 등 다중이용장소를 중점으로 순찰을 강화합니다.

특히 가정폭력 재발이 우려되는 가정에 대해 모니터링을 강화하고 야간에는 형사 인력을 추가 투입해 절도와 소매치기 예방활동에 나섭니다.
