5. Jeju City public parking lots to be free over holidays
No change in airport parking fees

Parking will be free at many Jeju City public lots from February 2nd to the 6th.

The city will allow free parking at 28 lots, including the ones at jeju City Hall and Dongmun Traditional Market. All told, that’s about 22-hundred spaces.

The 260-space lot at the airport will continue to charge as usual.

The city will dispatch parking attendants to the lots near Dongmun Market and (칠성로) Chilseong-ro. It expects a lot of people to visit those areas.

설 연휴 기간 공영주차장 무료 개방

제주시가 다음달 2일부터 6일까지 설 연휴 기간에 공영주차장을 무료로 개방합니다.

개방 대상은 제주시청 부근과 동문시장 등 공영주차장 28곳으로 주차면 수로는 2천 200여 개입니다.

다만 제주공항 입구에 있는 260면 규모 공영주차장은 기존과 같이 유료로 운영됩니다.

제주시는 이와함께 차량이 몰릴 것으로 예상되는 동문시장과 칠성통 등지에는
주차관리요원을 배치해 혼잡을 방지할 방침입니다.
