1. Growth in Jeju land prices slows
From 8.33% in 2016 to 4.99% last year

Jeju land is still getting more expensive every year, but the rate at which the price is growing is slowing.

Land ministry representatives say Jeju land prices were up an average of 4.99 percent last year. That’s higher than the national average of 4.58 percent.

Growth peaked at 8.33 percent in 2016, but it has fallen since then. In 2017, the figure was 5.46 percent.

57,900 plots of land changed hands last year. That’s 13.7 percent fewer than the year before last.

제주지역 땅값 상승률이 지속적으로 하락하고 있습니다.

국토교통부에 따르면 지난해 제주지역 지가 상승률은 전국평균 4.58%보다 높은 4.99%를 기록했습니다.

특히 제주지역 연간 지가 상승률은 2016년 8.33%로 최고를 기록한 뒤 2017년 5.46%를 기록하는 등 해마다 상승폭이 떨어지고 있습니다.

토지 거래량은 5만7천900여 필지로 재작년보다 13.7% 감소했습니다.
