4. EV drivers now have to pay at Provincial Office parking lot
Province collected ￦64m in fees at lot last year

Drivers of electric vehicles now have to pay at the Provincial Office parking lot.

The province began collecting fees February first from people who park for over one hour. Through January, EV drivers could park for free.

They are paying only half of what drivers of standard vehicles pay.

Cars owned by April 3rd Incident victims and their relatives also get the 50 percent discount.

Last year, 450,000 cars used the parking lot. They paid a total of 64 million won in fees.

도청 주차장 전기차 주차요금 부과

제주도청 주차장에서 전기차에 대한 주차요금이 부과됩니다.

제주특별자치도는 다음달부터 현재 주차요금을 받지 않고 있는 전기자동차에 대해
최초 1시간 면제 후 이후부터 요금을 부과하기로 했습니다.

다만 기존 차량에 비해 주차요금을 50% 감면해 주기로 했습니다.

또 4.3 희생자와 유족의 차량에 대해서도 주차요금의 50% 감면혜택을 적용하기로 했습니다.

지난해의 경우 45만대의 차량이 제주도청 주차장을 이용했으며 이에 따른 요금으로 6천 400만원을 징수했습니다.
