1. Province to front-load 60% of 2019 spending
￦1.6t to be spent by end of June

The province will front-load 1.6 trillion won in government spending in the first half of this year.

That’s 60 percent of the entire 2019 budget of 2.8 trillion won.

It will fund social overhead capital facilities and job creation efforts in the next few months. Those projects generally have a large impact on the local economy.

In order to speed up the budget outlays, the province will enact an emergency bidding system for the projects and pay up to 70 percent of the contract price in advance.

제주도, 상반기 1조 6천억 조기 집행

제주특별자치도가 올 상반기중에 1조 6천원 규모의 재정을 조기에 집행합니다.

이같은 액수는 올해 전체 집행대상액인 2조 8천억원 가운데 60% 수준입니다.

특히 지역경제 파급효과가 큰 SOC 시설과 일자리 관련 예산을 선정해 집행합니다.

또 신속한 집행을 위해 긴급입찰제도를 운영하고 선급금 지급액을 계약금액의 70%까지 확대합니다.
