5. More government support for job creation
Province encouraging local firms to hire young and middle-aged workers

The provincial government will provide more support to create jobs for young and middle-aged workers.

The province will give firms that hire unemployed people between the ages of 18 and 34 500,000 won monthly for six months.

Companies with less than five employees will receive 700,000 won per month for a year for every young adult they hire.

Companies will also receive 400,000 won per month for one year for every worker they hire aged 40 and over.



청년·중장년층 일자리 지원 확대

제주특별자치도가 올해 청년과 중장년층에 대한 일자리 지원을 확대합니다.

주요내용을 보면 만 18살부터 34살 이하의 미취업 청년에 대해 청년수당으로
월 50만원씩 6개월간 지원합니다.

또 올해 신규사업으로 5명 미만의 기업에서 청년층을 추가 고용할 경우 1명당 월 70만원씩 1년간 지급합니다.

이와 함께 만 40살 이상의 중장년층을 추가 고용한 기업에 대해서도 1명당 월 40만원씩 1년간 지원할 예정입니다.
