5. Jeju Civilian-Military Complex Port to welcome first cruise ship
Queen Mary 2 will arrive March 2

The first cruise ship to dock at the Jeju Civilian-Military Complex Port in Gangjeong-dong, Seogwipo since it opened nine months ago will arrive in a matter of days.

The provincial government says the UK-flagged Queen Mary 2 will arrive at the port at 8 a.m. March 2nd.

The 140,000-ton vessel can accommodate 4,000 passengers and crew.

Local officials plan to welcome the vessel and its passengers with a special ceremony in front of the cruise passenger terminal.

서귀포시 강정동 제주민군복합형 관광미항 개항 9개월만에 첫 크루즈가 입항할 예정입니다.

제주도에 따르면 다음달 2일 오전 8시 영국 선적의 크루즈선인 퀸메리 2호가
제주민군복합항에 입항합니다.

14만톤 규모의 퀸메리 2호에는 승객과 승무원 등 4천여 명이 타고 있습니다.

제주도는 크루즈 입항에 맞춰 크루즈여객터미널 앞에서 환영행사를 가질 에정입니다.
