3. Jeju Election Commission elects new chairman
Lee Chang-han is chief judge at Jeju District Court

Jeju District Court Chief Judge Lee Chang-han has become the 58th chair of the Jeju Election Commission.

Members of the commission elected Lee to the position during a recent full meeting.

His election comes ahead of the national union elections taking place in March. Lee has vowed to manage the elections with a high level of integrity and remove money from the process by severely cracking down on bribery and other election violations.

이창한 위원장은 3월에 실시되는 전국동시조합장선거를 공정하게 관리하고 특히 돈 선거를 근절하기 위해 금품수수 등 불법행위에 대해 엄정하게 대응하겠다고 강조했습니다.
