4. Job fair at Halla University
21 people hired Wednesday

The provincial government held a job fair for young adults Wednesday afternoon at the Halla University Convention Hall.

Some 200 jobseekers and 40 local companies took part in the fair. 21 people were hired.

Provincial officials say they aim to get another 80 people hired through a fair in March that will focus on jobs related to tourism and the hosting of large gatherings.

As part of effort to boost job creation, the local administration plans to offer companies financial aid of up to 20 million won when they hire up to 3 new employees.


제주도 청년일자리 채용박람회 열려

제주특별자치도가 주최한 청년일자리 채용박람회가 27일 오후 한라대학교 컨벤션홀에서 열렸습니다.

박람회에는 구직자 2백여 명과 도내 기업 40곳이 참여한 가운데 면접을 통해 21명이 채용됐습니다.

제주도는 다음 달에도 관광과 마이스 분야 채용 박람회를 통해 80여 명을 추가 채용할 예정입니다.

또 청년 고용을 장려하기 위해 기업당 최대 3명까지 연봉 2천여 만 원을 행정에서 보조할 계획입니다.
