5. Hado Haenyeo Choir releases album
Title song highlights Korean reunification

The dozens of active women divers on the Hado Haenyeo Choir have produced an album.

Songwriter (방승철) Bang Seung-chul wrote all seven songs on the new production. The title track is “Until We Reach Baekdu”, a song that wishfully promotes a reunited Korea.

The Hado Haenyeo Choir comprises 25 women who are in their 50s, 60s, and 70s. The choir has been performing since 2013.


하도해녀합창단 음반 제작·발매

현직 해녀들로 구성된 하도해녀합창단이 음반을 제작했습니다.

하도해녀합창단 음반에는 작곡가 방승철 씨가 작사 작곡한 7곡이 수록됐는데 대표곡인 '백두까지'는 백두산에서 함께 노래하는 통일에 대한 마음이 담겼습니다.

하도해녀합창단은 50에서 70대까지 해녀 25명으로 구성돼 지난 2013년부터 활동하고 있습니다.
