New property to be designated as public housing

The province plans to purchase unsold housing as part of an effort to reinvigorate the local economy. The new housing will be designated for use as public housing.

Local officials will also enact an ordinance allowing renovations on facilities that are at least 30 years old. The ordinance will include a streamlined construction approval process.

Ninety percent of the orders for the construction of the public housing must be completed during the first half of the year. Sixty percent of the budget must be implemented, as well.

However, concerns over the appropriateness of the new plan have been expressed.

미분양주택을 매입해
공공임대주택으로 전환하는 방안을 추진합니다.

또 30년 이상 노후된 시설물의 개선공사를 위한 조례 제정과 함께
건축 인허가 기간을 단축하고 절차를 간소화하기로 했습니다.

이와 함께
공공건설사업의 90%를 상반기에 발주하고
자금 집행 역시 상반기에 60% 마무리하기로 했습니다.

하지만 미분양 주택을
행정에서 매입하는게 타당한가에 대한 논란도 일고 있습니다.
