3. Sanbangsan detour road opens Sunday
Commemoration to be held Sunday morning

Seogwipo City recently announced that the construction for the Sanbangsan detour road has been completed. The new road has been paved to avoid the danger zone for falling stones in Sanbangsan.

Construction began in 2014 with a budget of 17.4 billion won and measure 893 meters long and 11 meters wide. The new road opened officially on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Seogwipo City held a walking event on Sunday morning to commemorate the official opening of the new road.


산방산 우회도로 내달 3일 개통

산방산 낙석 위험지역을 우회하는
도로 개설공사가 마무리돼
다음달 3일부터 개통합니다. (3일부터 개통했습니다.)

서귀포시는 지난 2014년부터 사업비 174억원을 투자한
산방산 우회도로 공사를 최근 마무리했다며
다음달 3일 오후 2시부터 차량통행을 허용하기로 했습니다.
(오후 2시부터 차량통행을 허용했습니다.)

이번에 개통하는 우회도로는
길이 893미터에 폭 11미터입니다.

서귀포시는 개통에 앞서 3일 오전에
지역주민들과 함께
산방산 우회도로 걷기행사를 개최할 예정입니다.
