Jeju Fire Festival open March 7-10
Festivities to be held at Saebyeol Oreum

The Jeju Fire Festival, one of the biggest events on the island’s yearly calendar, will be held from March seventh to tenth at Saebyeol Oreum.

The festival will begin with a torch lighting ceremony at Samsunghyeol (삼성혈). The torch bearers will be crossing the entire island.
A variety of programs are scheduled for the 2nd day of the festival, including the opening ceremony, music performances, and cultural events.
The highlight of the festival will take place on the evening of the 9th, as they light up Saebyeol Oreum.

A total of 394,000 people were in attendance last year.



들불축제 7일 개막…9일 오름 불놓기

제22회 제주들불축제가
3월 7일부터 10일까지
애월읍 새별오름 일대에서 열립니다.

축제 첫날인 7일에는
제주시 삼성혈에서
들불 불씨 채화제례를 시작으로
들불불씨 봉송 퍼레이드가 진행됩니다.

8일에는 새별오름 일대에서 개막식과 주제공연,
교류도시 사절단 문화공연 등이 열리며
9일에는 축제의 하이라이트인 오름 불놓기가 펼쳐집니다.

지난해 제주들불축제 기간에는
39만 4천여명이 다녀간 것으로 집계됐습니다.
