3. 4.3 Incident commemoration siren to ring on April 3rd
Moment of reflection will take place at 10 a.m. for 1 min

The Jeju provincial government will ring a siren to signify a moment of reflection on the 71st anniversary of the 4.3 Incident. The siren will sound for one minute at 10 a.m. on April 3rd in remembrance of the victims.

The Ministry of Public Administration and Security has approved the use of military sirens for this purpose. The operational status of fifty-two civil defense alarm facilities will be evaluated by the end of the month.

The province requests that all who hear the siren take a moment of reflection to honor those affected by the 4.3 Incident.
