2. Moon Dae-rim named new chairman of JDC
Makes promise to solve resort complex problem

Moon Dae-rim has officially been sworn in as the 8th chairman of the Jeju Free International City Development Center. The inauguration took place on March 7th and the chairman has formally begun business operations.

Chairman Moon has made promises to reinvigorate efforts in making Jeju a free international city, and declared that one of his top priorities during his term will be to resolve issues regarding the residential complexes.

He also made a commitment to find a resolution for the Jeju Healthcare Town, namely the controversial Greenland International Hospital.

7일 본사에서 취임식을 갖고 공식 업무를 시작했습니다.

문 이사장은 취임사를 통해
JDC가 제주를 국제자유도시로 만드는
국가전담기구로서의 위상을 되찾고
역할을 제대로 수행할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다고 강조했습니다.

특히 휴양형주거단지 사업을 최우선 과제로 삼아
임기내에 정상화될 수 있는 방안을 반드시 찾겠고
녹지국제병원을 비롯한 헬스케어타운 역시
합리적인 해결방안을 도출하겠다고 말했습니다.
