5. Jeju police cracks down on drug-related offenders
Drug trafficking in Jeju on the rise

Jeju police are cracking down on drug offenders on the island. The police department will rigorously enforce anti-drug laws until May 24th.

The main subjects of interest will include drug trafficking offenders and sex offenders who are caught abusing drugs. The list also includes offenders of illegal footage distribution.

Drug trafficking offenses that have been prosecuted in Jeju rose from 26 cases in 2015 to 35 cases in 2017.

경찰, 마약 범죄 집중단속

경찰이 오는 5월 24일까지
제주지역 마약류를 이용한 모든 범죄에 대한
집중단속에 나섭니다.

주요 단속 대상은
마약류를 반입하고 유통하는 1차 범죄를 비롯해
마약류를 이용한 2차 성범죄,
이 과정에서
불법촬영물을 유포하는 3차 범죄까지
모두입니다.

한편, 제주에서 마약류 사범으로
검찰에 송치되는 사건은
2015년 26건에서 2017년 35건으로 해마다 늘고 있습니다.
