Private hearing officer selected for objectivity

The hearing process to cancel the approval of the Greenland International Hospital will begin on March 26th. The hospital has been notified and the provincial government has selected an independent expert on the law as the hearing officer.

The hearing will focus mainly on the reasons behind the hospital’s failure to open for business during the three month period after approval as stipulated in the Medical Law, as well as reasons for avoiding the on-site inspection by the provincial government.

The province has stated that a government official normally stands as the hearing officer, but in this case, a hearing officer was selected from a private 3rd party to secure independence and objectivity.

오는 26일
회의를 개최하는 것으로
녹지제주헬스케어타운 유한회사에 통지서를 발송했다고 밝혔습니다.

이번 청문에서는
의료법에서 정한 3개월동안 병원을 정상적으로 개원하지 않은 이유와
제주도의 현장점검을 기피한 행위에 대한
정당한 사유가 있는지를 집중 다루게 됩니다.

제주도는 통상 청문주재관을
행정청 소속 공무원이나 전직 공무원에서 선발하지만
이번의 경우
독립성과 객관성, 공정성 확보를 위해
외부 법률전문가를 선정했다고 밝혔습니다.
