5. Amnesty for illegal drug to take place in Jeju, April 1-June 30
Lesser criminal charges and rehab for offenders

Amnesty for the use of illegal drugs will take place in Jeju from April 1st to June 30th.

Offenders can turn themselves in to the public prosecutor’s office or a police station in person, by phone, or via a written document.
The offender will be given a lesser charge, and will be mandated to undergo drug rehabilitation at a medical institution designated by the government.

마약류 투약자 특별자수기간 운영

제주에서도 마약류 투약자 특별자수기간이 운영됩니다.

운영 기간은 오는 1일부터 6월 30일까지이며
검찰청 또는 경찰서에
본인이 직접 출석하거나 전화, 서면 등으로 신고하면 됩니다.

이 기간동안 자수한 마약류 투약자에 대해서는
자수한 점을 고려해 처분하게되고
국가지정 의료기관에서 재활치료를 받도록 조치됩니다.
