1. JSA opposes delayed passage of motion to boost startups
Accuses province of opposing central government’s policies

The provincial council has delayed the passage of a motion regarding the release of subsidy funds to boost startups in Jeju, and it is being met with backlash from startup companies.

The Jeju Startup Association held a press conference March 22nd and accused the provincial government of going against the central government’s policies to boost startups and create an environment conducive to the fourth industrial revolution.

They also delivered a letter of inquiry to the local council member of the Democratic Party, Kim Gyeong-hak (김경학), about Jeju’s policies and future vision for startups.
