2. Jeju govt, FSS, Jeju Bank make joint effort to fight financial fraud
Will collaborate to educate public, raise awareness

The Jeju government will counter financial fraud, such as voice phishing, by systematically educating the public and increasing awareness.

The province has signed a business agreement with the Financial Supervisory Service and the Jeju Bank on March 22nd to establish the cooperative system.
The new system will combine their resources and utilize various channels to inform area residents of new scams.

The agreement also includes an enhanced system of detecting a fraud and an establishment of stronger preventative measures.

체계적인 교육과 홍보에 나섭니다.

제주도는 이를 위해 22일
금융감독원, 그리고 제주은행과
금융사기 피해예방을 위한 업무협약을 체결하고
상시협력체계를 구축합니다.

특히 이들 3개 기관이 보유한
다양한 콘텐츠와 홍보채널을 활용해
신종 사기수법 등을 도민에게 알려나갈 계획입니다.

이와함께 금융사기 의심거래에 대한 탐지활동을 강화하는 등
적극적인 예방활동에 나서기로 했습니다.
