Project will damage historic heritage, contaminate environment

Area residents are calling for the cancellation of the Songaksan New Ocean Town development project, and have raised concerns about landscape privatization and environmental contamination.

A committee opposing the New Ocean Town project held a press release Monday and called on the provincial council to oppose the environmental impact assessment agreement.

They argued that the project would likely damage the historic heritage and fragile geography around the mountain, and also result in landscape privatization. The committee submitted a formal petition to the local council.

이들은 송악산 인근의 연약한 지질과
귀중한 역사유산을 훼손할 우려가 높고
경관 사유화 우려도 있다고 지적했습니다.
