2. Public service to remain operational on April 3rd local holiday
Employees will also attend 4.3 memorial service

April Third has been designated as a local holiday, but the public service sector will still be operational, as usual.

The provincial government announced that work will be mandatory for public service employees, and normal operations will be conducted in the departments of environment, transportation, fire safety, and water and sewage.

More than half of the licensing department and eup, myeon, dong administrative personnel will also report to work on the holiday.
The remaining employees will be asked to participate in the April 3rd commemoration ceremony and memorial service to pay tribute.

4월 3일이 지방공휴일로 지정됐지만,
민원서비스는 차질없이 이뤄집니다.

제주특별자치도는
지방공휴일 근무명령을 발령하고
추념식 행사 지원과 각종 민원 서비스를
차질없이 제공할 계획이라고 밝혔습니다.

특히 환경과 교통, 소방안전, 상하수도 부서는
평상시 근무 체계를 유지하고
인허가 부서와 읍면동은
직원 절반 이상 출근하도록 했습니다.

제주도는
지방공휴일 지정 취지를 살려
나머지 인력들도
4.3 추념식과 추모행사 지원에 참여하도록
할 방침입니다.
