2. College of pharmacy to open at Jeju National University
Enrollment of 30 students in freshman class

The establishment of a College of Pharmacy in Jeju National University has been confirmed.

The Ministry of Education approved the founding of a Pharmaceutical College at Jeju National University and Jeonbuk National University out of the 12 schools that applied for approval. A thorough site inspection was performed twice to finalize the decision.

A maximum of 30 prospective students will be accepted in the JNU program. Students taking next year’s College Scholastic Ability Test are eligible for application.

Jeju National University plans to cultivate professional personnel in the pharmaceutical industry, including such specialities as industrial pharmacy.

제주대학교 약학대학 신설이 확정됐습니다.

교육부는 약대 신설을 신청한 12개 대학을 대상으로
1차와 2차 현장 심사를 벌인 결과
제주대와 전북대를 최종 선정했다고 밝혔습니다.

제주대 약대에는 모두 30명의 정원이 배정되며
올해 수능을 치르는
내년 신입생부터 선발하게 됩니다.

제주대는 약대 신설을 통해
산업 약사 등 전문인력을 양성할 계획입니다.
