1. Sirens to mark April 3rd remembrance day
Commemoration ceremony begins 10 a.m. at Jeju 4·3 Peace Park

The 71st commemoration ceremony of the April 3rd Incident will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Jeju April 3rd Peace Park.

The ceremony will be hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and supervised by the province. It will also feature a variety of performances aiming to convey the meaning of the April 3rd Incident to future generations.

Sirens will sound in commemoration throughout Jeju Island for 1 minute at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

3일 오전 10시부터 4.3 평화공원에서 거행됩니다.

행정안전부가 주최하고
제주도가 주관하는 이번 추념식은
4.3 역사 교훈의
미래 세대 전승을 주제로 한
다양한 퍼포먼스와 공연이 펼쳐집니다.

추념식 당일에는
오전 10시부터 1분 동안
희생자 추모 묵념 사이렌이
제주도 전역에 울려 퍼집니다.
