5. Helicopter ‘Hallamae’ to be deployed in June
Jeju Regional Office of Aviation issues Certificate of Airworthiness

Jeju’s first multi-use helicopter (한라매)Hallamae will be placed into service in late June.

The Jeju Fire Department said it received an Airworthiness Certification for Hallamae from the Jeju Regional Office of Aviation.

The certification is issued when the safety of the aircraft is verified after the inspection of its flying performance and maintenance.

Hallamae is expected to be put to use around the end of June after it finishes up maintenance and fulfills 500 hours of flying time.


소방헬기 '한라매' 6월 실전 배치

제주에 처음 도입된 다목적 소방헬기 한라매가
오는 6월 말 실전에 배치될 전망입니다.

제주도 소방안전본부는
제주지방항공청으로부터
한라매에 대한 감항증명서를 발급받았다고 밝혔습니다.

감항증명은
비행 성능과 정비 상태 등을 검사해
항공기의 안전성을 인증받은 경우 발급됩니다.

이에따라 소방안전본부는
비행시간 500시간을 채우고 정비까지 마치면
오는 6월 말쯤
한라매 헬기를 실전에 투입할 수 있을 것으로
내다보고 있습니다.
