1. Jeju public bus system due inspection
Audit focuses on budget and implementation

The Provincial Commission of Audit and Inspection began its study on the operation status of the public transportation system on April 4th.

The commision will review the reorganization project of the public transportation system implemented from August 2014. The audit will end on the 30th.

It will especially focus on budgetary matters and the process of implementation of the semi-public bus system.

The province has been criticized for budget overruns after its yearly investment of 100 billion won.

제주도의 대중교통체계 개편 관련 사업 전반을
조사합니다.

특히 준공영제 사업 예산 편성과
집행 과정에 문제가 없는지를
집중 살필 계획입니다.

제주도는 버스 준공영제 도입 이후
매년 1천억 원 안팎의 예산을 지원하고 있는데
예산 퍼주기 논란이 제기되고 있습니다.
