5. Jeju hosts 2,000 incentive tourists from Taiwan
15,000 additional travelers to visit the island this year

A large group of visitors from Taiwan have arrived on Jeju as part of an incentive tour.

The province and the Jeju Tourism Organization said that some 2,000 Taiwanese visitors made port on Friday.

Seven cruise ships from Taiwan are scheduled to arrive this year, bringing an expected 15,000 additional travelers to Jeju.

The JTO will hold welcoming events to encourage incentive tourists to make Jeju a return travel destination.


대만 인센티브 관광객 크루즈 방문

대만 인센티브 단체관광객이 크루즈를 이용해
제주를 찾습니다.

제주도와 제주관광공사에 따르면
5일 대만 암웨이 인센티브 관광객 2천여 명이
크루즈를 타고 제주에 입항합니다.

이와함께 올해 대만발 크루즈가 7차례 제주를 찾을 예정이어서
1만5천명의 관광객 유치 효과가 기대됩니다.

제주관광공사는 인센티브 관광객들에게
환영 이벤트 등을 개최해 재방문을 유도하기로 했습니다.
