Seogwipo police arrested five high-ranking provincial government officials for professional misconduct.

According to police, a civil servant approved the drainage maintenance project for a resort in Seogwipo as a favor to a former high-ranking official.

Seogwipo City misappropriated funds during this process.

The police charged three responsible public servants as well as a former government official for misconduct.

모 공무원은 전직 고위 공직자의 민원에 따라
서귀포 모 리조트 배수로 정비사업을 추진한 것으로 알려졌습니다.

이 과정에서 서귀포시가
목적에 맞지 않는 예산을 전용한 것으로 알려졌습니다 .

경찰은 해당 공무원의 지시로 업무를 추진한
서귀포시 모 사무관 등 공무원 세 명과
사업을 청탁한 전직 공직자도 함께 입건했습니다 .
