Online bullies to be prosecuted for libel

Two anti-second airport groups will file charges against online bullies for leaving false and slanderous comments.

The groups held a press conference in front of the local prosecutor’s office on the 22nd and announced plans to file charges against an unspecified number of online antagonists. Comments spreading false information on the second airport began after the press release on the site of the second airport in November 2015.

The Seongsan New Airport Opposition Committee stressed that it is serious libel for those who leave comments under false pretenses and called for strict investigation.

해당 댓글을 올린 것처럼 여론을 조작한 것은 심각한 명예훼손이라며
검찰에 엄정 수사를 촉구했습니다.
