5. Provincial government to inspect 880 buses
Officials will fine transit companies violating safety standards

The provincial government, the Jeju Bus Company Association and Korea Transport Safety Authority will inspect local public buses for a month starting April 29.

880 buses including regular transit buses, express and limousine buses are subject to check-up.

Officials will focus on examining whether the parts are operating normally and fire extinguishers are furnished in the vehicles. Transit companies will be levied when found violating safety standards

오는 29일부터 한 달 동안
버스운송사업조합, 한국교통안전공단과 함께
대중교통 노선버스에 대한 일제점검을 실시합니다.

대상은
시내 간선과 지선 버스,
마을버스, 급행과 리무진 등 모두 880여 대입니다.

차량 장비 정상 작동여부와
소화기 비치 여부 등이 주요 점검사항으로
위반 업체에게는
과징금을 부과할 계획입니다.
