6. Officials levy ￦500k for Natural Park Act violations
Shaman areas are subject to heightened surveillance

The provincial government is cracking down on illegal practices in Hallasan National Park.

People cooking, smoking or trespassing unauthorized trails will be fined up to 500 thousand won.

Officials will strengthen surveillance on areas such as Youngsil and 99 valleys where shaman rituals are held

Approximately 200 violations of the Natural Park Act in Hallasan National Park have been reported from last year.

한라산국립공원 자연공원법 위반 건수는 200건에 달하고 있습니다.
