5. 14th Jeju Forum to be held May 29-31
Some 5,000 participants to promote peace

The 14th Jeju Forum for Peace and Prosperity will be held at the Jeju International Convention Center on May 29-31. This year’s forum is hosted by the provincial government and sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Some five thousand people from approximately 70 countries will be participating at the event. The list of participants include former UN secretary Ban Ki-Moon, former Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama.

About 70 sessions on national security & foreign affairs, global Jeju and diversity will be held under the theme of “Asia Towards Resilient Peace: Cooperation and Integration”.

Governor Won Hee-ryong will also hold a special meeting with New Zealand’s former Prime Minister Helen Clark on May 31.
