1. Three local union leaders under investigation
Dismissal and levy of ￦1million pending judgement

The local prosecutor’s office and the local police department are currently looking into the files of three union leaders of the Jeju branch of National Agricultural Cooperative Federation and National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives, also respectively known as Nonghyup and Suhyup.

The local prosecutor’s office announced that a union leader from Nonghyup is currently under investigation for malfeasance.

The local police are also investigating another union leader from Nonghyup for malpractice and one from Suhyup for violating the Election Law.

The union leaders will be dismissed from their positions once proven guilty and fined one million won.

제주지방검찰청은
업무상 배임 혐의로
모 농협 조합장 A씨를 수사하고 있다고 밝혔습니다.

또 모 농협 조합장 B씨도 업무상 배임 혐의로,
수협 조합장 C씨는 선거법 위반 혐의로
각각 경찰 수사를 받고 있습니다.

재판에서 조합장들의 죄가 입증돼
벌금 100만 원 형이 확정되면 조합장직을 잃게 됩니다.
