4. Digital tokens on display for the first time in Korea
International Electric Vehicle Expo starts May 8

Digital tokens will be on display for the first time in the nation at the 6th annual International Electric Vehicle Expo (IEVE) starting May 8.

Digital tokens are also referred to as crypto-tokens that represent an asset or a utility by being hosted on top of another blockchain.

The IEVE organizing committee said digital tokens can be commonly used and easily distributed through smartphones and phone numbers.

They will also offer digital tokens as a reward to all participants at the expo including speakers and ordinary visitors. The tokens can be exchanged to vouchers and gift coupons during the expo.

5월 8일 개막한 국제전기자동차엑스포에
국내에서는 처음으로 블록체인 기술 기반의 디지털 토큰이 선보입니다.

엑스포 조직위원회에 따르면
이 디지털 토큰은 보편적으로 사용되고 있는 방식으로
스마트폰 전화번호만으로도 유통이 가능합니다.

특히 엑스포에 등록한 연사나 일반 관람객들에게
엑스포 참가에 따른 보상 차원에서 제공될 예정입니다.

이 토큰은 엑스포 기간 농산물상품권이나 경품권 등으로
교환할 수 있습니다.
