4. JDC demonstrates safety smart drone for Hallasan National Park
Devices perform safety and meteorological surveillance

The Jeju Free International City Development Center demonstrated its smart drone safety surveillance service at Witse Oreum on April 30. The service will target areas prone to accidents in Hallasan Mountain such as (윗세오름) Witse Oreum, Eorimok, Yeongsil and trails leading to Baekrokdam.

Drones performed mock searches for accidents, missing people and illegal practices in the mountains during the demonstration.

The devices will also send real-time data on local meteorology and micro-dust levels to the control room.

시연은
한라산 윗세오름을 비롯해
영실코스와 어리목코스, 백록담 코스를 중심으로
산악사고와 흡연, 실종자 수색 등 여러 상황을 가상해 이뤄졌습니다.

특히 이번에 선보인 스마트 드론은
안전관리 외에도
국지 기상과 초미세먼지를 관측해
실시간으로 관측정보를 통합관제실에 전달하게 됩니다.
