3. City officials to expand access road of new local police building
Construction project to cost ￦ 5.2 billion

The Jeju Municipal Office announced plans to expand the access road for the new building of the Jeju Provincial Police Agency.

Officials said a road construction project is underway to secure a wider road at the entrance of the new police agency building.

The city will spend 5.2 billion won on the project. Its agenda to finalize the road’s design by July and start construction from the first half of 2020 and finish in 2021.

The access road of the construction site has long been considered inconvenient due to its narrow entrance and a public bus garage located at the middle of the road.

제주지방경찰청 청사 신축에 따라 진입도로가 확포장됩니다.

제주시는
신축될 경찰청사 진출입로 확보를 위해
도시계획도로 개설사업을 추진한다고 밝혔습니다.

이에따라 앞으로 사업비 52억원을 들여
7월까지 실시설계를 마무리하고
내년 상반기부터
2021년까지 도로 개설을 완료할 계획입니다.

현재 경찰청 예정부지 진입로는
도로 폭이 좁고
중간에 공영버스 차고지가 있어 통행에 불편을 겪어 왔습니다.
