Local health officials alerted the public to take extra precautionary measures as the island is ranked the third highest for tick-outbreaks in the nation. Authorities advised citizens to maintain personal hygiene and wear long sleeves to prevent tick-bites when outdoors

Three out of 15 local SFTS patients died last year. There are no reports of SFTS infections so far this year.

진드기에 물리지 않도록
긴 옷을 입고 위생관리에 신경써
달라고 당부했습니다.

한편 제주에서는
지난해 15명의 SFTS 환자가
발생한 가운데 세명이 사망했습니다.

올해는
현재까지 SFTS 환자가
발생하지 않았습니다.
