5. Six new Chinese incentive tour groups to visit Jeju
Province expects more visitors from China

Tourism exchange between China and Jeju is showing signs of recovery as six Chinese incentive tour groups are to visit the island. The Chinese incentive tourist market in Jeju has been stagnant since the THAAD anti-missile system crisis.

Authorities recently announced that Chinese Yisheng Hanshen Cosmetics Incentive Tour Group of 1,500 people will be visiting the island.

So far, the province has attracted a total of six Chinese incentive tours this year, surpassing last year’s number of five groups.

The local government expects a larger number of Chinese incentive tour group visits due to improved relations between Korea and China.

사드사태 이후 침체됐던 제주지역 중국 인센티브 관광시장이
회복 기미를 보이고 있습니다.

제주도는 최근
1천500명 규모의 중국 익성한삼 코스메틱 인센티브 관광단을
유치했다고 밝혔습니다.

이에따라 올들어 지금까지 중국 인센티브관광 유치실적은 6건으로
지난 1년간 유치 실적인 5건을 넘어섰습니다.

제주도는 한중 관계 개선으로
중국 기업들의 인센티브 관광 요청 문의가 이어지고 있다며
중국 단체관광 활성화를 기대하고 있습니다.
