4. Jeju to subsidize solar energy generator in private homes
Residents can apply for support through May 16

Local residents can apply for government subsidy to install solar energy generators in their homes.

Jeju Energy Corporation will open applications through May 16.

The local government will subsidize installation fee and electricity costs for 150 single-family houses and three apartments.

The province has been promoting the use of solar power generators every year since 2017 as part of the green energy project to reduce fine-dust levels.

제주특별자치도가
주택태양광발전시설 설치 희망가구를 모집합니다.

단독주택 150개소와
공동주택 3개소를 대상으로 신청을 받을 예정이며
대상자로 선정되면
태양광 발전시설 전기료와 설치비를 일부 지원받게 됩니다.

접수는 이달 16일까지 제주에너지공사에서 이뤄집니다.

태양광 발전시설은
미세먼지를 저감할 수 있는 친환경 에너지 사업으로
지난 2017년부터
제주도에서 매년 보급사업을 진행하고 있습니다.
