2. Korean man arrested for running porn site
Operated in the Philippines and Japan

As previously reported, a 34-year-old man surnamed Ko was arrested and forcibly returned to Korea from Japan for distributing child pornography on his illegally-run website. His case has been forwarded to the prosecution by the Jeju Provincial Police Agency.

Further investigations revealed that Ko not only operated in the Philippines but also in Japan. He made illegal profits of 100 million won by distributing about 20,000 illegal contents including child pornography from January 2017 through this April.

제주지방경찰청은
해외에서 불법 음란사이트를 운영해 온
일본에 거주하던 34살 고 모씨를 강제 송환해 구속하고
사건 일체를 검찰에 송치했습니다.

경찰에 따르면
고 씨는 재작년 1월부터 올해 4월까지
필리핀과 일본 사무실에서
음란물 2만여 개를 배포하고
1억여 원의 불법 수익금을 얻은 혐의를 받고 있습니다.
